Our Most Frequently Asked Questions

If you can't find the answer here...head over to the Contact Page and email us your questions. We will get back to you faster than a puppy can steal your heart!
  • Are copies of genetic or health reports available?

We have genetic and health reports available on all of our dogs upon request.

  • Are your pups exposed to children and other people in day to day life?

Aussies are great with children and all of our puppies are home raised. Our kids each have their own dog, so they help and play with the puppies everyday. The puppies are loved and exposed to a farm environment with many different kinds of animals.

  • Can you give me information about the temperament of the parents?

We would love to share with you the temperament of the parents. They are like our kids, each has such a unique personality! You are even welcome to come meet them if you would like to.

  • Can I name my puppy now?

    Yes you can!

After your deposit has been verified, let us know what you would like to name your puppy and we will start teaching!

  • Why do I need to fill out the Puppy Application?

Our goal is to help you adopt a family member, not just a dog. The puppy application found above makes it easier for us to find you the perfect match.

  • Do you participate in other dog related activities such as clubs or shows?

We have done agility with many of our dogs and love it. We also help with agility for our local 4-H program. It is a good way to pass our love of showing dogs on to the next generation

  • Can I get a discount on my puppy?

We will take $100 off the price of each puppy you adopt, after the first one.

  • How do I contact you or ask questions about a specific pup?

We encourage you to contact us with any questions. You can go to the Contact tab and fill in the form, email us or just call.

  • How long have you been breeding mini Aussies?

We have been breeding mini and toy Aussies since 2001, but Aussies have always been a part of our lives. We have a family member who used to raise standard Aussies.

  • How many generations are shown in the pedigree for the litters?

We have three generation bloodline information available on all of our dogs. When you adopt a puppy, your registration will come with a three generation pedigree.

  • Is there a difference in price between a dog registered with breeding rights vs. one that is not?

The price is higher if you would like breeding rights. All of our puppies are registered, they will just be registered as a pet only or with breeding rights.

  • We don't live near you. How do you handle shipping?

We can ship via ground or air and the price depends on your location as well as the weight and size of your adopted friend. You are responsible for all shipping and crate costs as well as our mileage to transport your puppy to the closest major airport.

  • What are the details of the health guarantee?

Your new puppy is genetically guaranteed for 2 full years. If any genetic defects develop in the 2 years, Nebraska Dog will replace the said puppy. The complete guarantee can be found in our Adoption Contract listed below.

  • Learning to speak Puppy can be challenging, can you help me out?

We provide all of our puppy owners with information about a great support program called PET KEY. Using this optional program is like having access to the ultimate Puppy Help Desk.

  • What can my puppy do in addition to looking cute?

We can train your puppy so he or she comes home already knowing a few tricks. Just tell us what you'd like them to learn.
